PSNS consists of a ‘Parent Body’ as its primary membership, which is run by an elected Council which meets according to need, usually quarterly. The members of the Council are the Trustees of the Charity and act to ensure compliance with the requirements of Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) and manage policies common to all the membership, such as General Data Protection Regulation etc. The Council has members from each Section to support and help coordinate activities. Each Section has its own committee to manage its own programme of events etc. The Council also organises the Winter Lecture Series, currently branded as ‘Curious Minds’ and run in partnership with Culture Perth and Kinross.
